Picasso

Pablo Picasso who was born in the 25th of October 1881 in Malaga, Spain was the crator of cubism.he became one of the greatest and  most influential artist who's amazing art actually transforms  the 20th century . In 1907, Pablo Picasso produced a painting unlike anything he or anyone else had ever painted before, a work that would  influence the direction of art in the 20th century: "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon," a chilling depiction of five nude prostitutes, abstracted and distorted with sharp geometric features and harsh blotches of blues, greens and greys.

In Cubist paintings, objects are broken apart and reassembled in an abstracted form, highlighting their composite geometric shapes and depicting them from multiple, simultaneous viewpoints in order to create collage-like effects. During the world war 2 he still continued to paint  in paris while the Germans were taking over the land. He sadly died at the age of 91 On the 8th of April 1973 in Mougins, France.

       >>  Picasso's Woman with Mandolin (1910) . I like this painting because of  the way  Picasso, has painted the sculptor,  or fragments the girl's body into facets that are modelled to simulate their projection of the flat picture plane toward the viewer and that portray her in movement as she strums her mandolin. What Picasso is trying to depict here is the fourth dimension, the space/time. I really like how the detail and depth of the light colours that reflects this painting, even without hot colours. It very hard to do a copy of his work, as of the way he uses abstract colours or rules he uses to create his own cubist style painting.
